Poor Jordan :(

The brother-in-laws rejected him for taking their sister, and the girls didn't want him imposing on their photo. Poor fellow, won't anybody show him that they love him? It's ok Jordan, I'm sure when Strayer family picture time comes around you will shine like a star!

Buchanan Family at Oak Creek

Brian and Debbi Buchanan. Debbi is my oldest sister and I grew up with their children ( my nephews and niece ) as my best friends and playmates, so it was a real joy and pleasure to take their family pictures in such a beautiful setting. Despite what Debbi thinks she and Brian take a beautiful husband and wife picture. I want to thank The Lord Jesus for watching over and keeping the Buchanan family through all these years. They have been through a lot and we are still looking forward to the finished work that Jesus Christ has in His perfect plan. Praise The Lord for His children and His lovely creation of nature, both make for beautiful pictures.

South Carolina Family Trip

These are the pictures from our latest trip to South Carolina. Some of these were actually from Georgia and some from the zoo in S.C.. The landscape is so different back east, everything is so green and soft, and as we've been taught the environment matches the people so many times. You can't help but love the southern hospitality, I know I sure do. We had such a good time and it was such a blessing to get the entire family together and fellowship around The Word of God. I married into the best family a man could want. There is such unity amongst us all and it is only by God's Grace. These pictures show beautiful faces and beautiful surroundings but they can't show the real beauty of the life of The Lord Jesus in our lives. I am thankful that we were able to not only see It but be around It and part of It. I'm so glad I serve a God of variety. Thanks Sarah for the suggestion of a title on the blogs.

Abigail had her first birthday party, woohoo!!! It was a birthday party that won't soon be forgotten. She is such a social butterfly it's hard to keep up with her and all of her friends. A V.I.P. only party brought some interesting things with it. Miley (the bouncer) kept the freeloaders away and bullied anybody that even looked crossways at Abby, and then helped tear into the cupcakes. Cousin Tessa gave the most heart warming birthday speech ever and concluded with a party noisemaker salute and a huge baby drooly kiss, and then helped tear into the presents. But probably the biggest surprise of all was the guest appearance by Snow White herself. Who knew my youngest daughter even knew one of the most beloved princesses of all time? I'll tell you what, I don't know what is in store for Grace and I, having birthday parties of this caliber are going to be hard for us to match each year. Thank you to all of Abigails fans, supporters, V.I.P. friends, family, management, diaper changing team, and Sam's Club for selling the food to us. On a serious note, it was great and I want to thank The Lord for such beautiful, healthy girls. The Lord knows how I love them and cherish the time I have with them.
